River Weaver
The River Weaver flows through the picturesque town of Nantwich noted for its beautiful Elizabethan buildings amongst other things. Within walking distance of the town are numerous places for fishing which are easily accessible (with free parking) and some platforms are suitable for disabled access with parking nearby.
The fishing varies from slower moving water in the fishing pools by the lakes, to faster flowing water in the mainstreams.
The species of fish caught include Chub, Carp, Grayling, Pike, Roach, Bream,Dace, Perch, Gudgeon, Tench, Brown and Rainbow Trout.
