In 2007 we moved headquarters to The Red Lion Hotel, Barony Road, Nantwich. The location of this venue could not be closer to the waters of the River Weaver. During 2006, numerous work on the River Weaver had been done to improve bank access for members and prune overhanging vegetation/trees. This work has been done in conjunction with the Crewe and Nantwich Borough Council Weaver Officer and the Environment Agency. We are continually looking at ways to impvove our membership, in 2006 we gained affiliation to the River Dee Association enabling our members for fish eight different beats on the River Dee around the Farndon and Holt areas. Some of these beats really come into their own in winter months and the weights are really impressive with large chub and pike amongst many other fish.

During 2007 we are planning some events including attending Nantwich Show and a fishing evening with a guest speaker. Further details will be posted on this site and in the local newspapers.
